With the last National Day Parade at the Kallang Stadium, I thought it was very important for me to be there and experience the atmosphere before it made way for the new stadium.
And what an experience it was! It was such a great day for shooting photographs cos there were smiles aplenty. Everyone was having fun and anticipating a good time. All patiently waiting under the hot sun; the families with young kids, the couples, the elderly generation, the hardworking volunteers, the student volunteers, the uniformed services... all there to take part in the moment.
The faces of each individual was priceless. It was really a great day.

Day before the Clifford Pier closes

|
Lots of historic places in Singapore are closing down either to be torn down or renovated. The National Library, the National Stadium. And Clifford Pier is another one of the places that is affected by the changes of time. So thought I'd visit the place. I rarely pass by there and before it closes thought I'd record some pictures of it for posterity.
